Did You Know?
Did you know August 24 is the “sickest” day of the year? A 5-year analysis of 300 companies with 10,000+ employees reveals that more people call in sick on August 24 than any other day of the year.
Do you know what a ‘girl dinner’ is? 👇 I see my adult daughter have one about 2-3 times a week.
When she’s had enough of creating a kitchen masterpiece for her slightly ungrateful teenage girls, she assembles a simple collection of bits and pieces and eats.
Take a few pieces of bread, add a pickle, some cheese, a can of corn, 4-5 olives - and abracadabra, you have a girl dinner.
Nothing wrong with that.

Tip of the Week
A natural solution for nearsightedness. With half of the world anticipated to be unable to see across a room without glasses or surgery by 2050, eye doctors in Taiwan have found a simple solution to prevent childhood myopia, or nearsightedness: spending more time in the great outdoors. Apparently, poor eye health has been a big problem for the island country, where around 90% of high schoolers have already developed blurry vision—compared to just 50% of all age groups in Europe and the US. But in the few years since Taiwan launched a program to get young school children outside for two hours each day, myopia rates among primary school kids steadily declined from a peak of 50% to 46.1%.

Hundreds of redheads from around the world gathered in the southern Dutch town of Tilburg this week for an annual festival celebrating their amber locks.
Natural redheads from countries including the UK, Israel, Germany, Italy and New Zealand made the trip for the three-day event, which organisers Redhead Days say is all about "connection, pride and recognition".
